"Along Came a Spider" by Moxie & Oscar
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/spideralong.zip)
More 40k fun, but this time focusing on the city hives that are Necromunda.
When rumours of a Chaos outbreak reach the Imperial command, things get
shaken up big time for the Spires. Originally run at Ubercon.
"Ere We Go!" by Moxie & Oscar
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/Erewego.zip)
Take your turn playing 40k Orcs, and participate in the grand tradition
of theWaagh! You know you want to.
"The Nature of Evil" by Moxie & Oscar
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/natureevil.zip)
So how many of you have looked at the background for WarHammer 40k and
wished you could run an rpg in it? Well here's on we (well, they) prepared
earlier. Answer the tough questions about where your loyalties lie, as
a group of Marines are forced to team up with a group of Eldar...all of
which isn't helped by the fanatical preacher. Will they kill each other,
or will something else do the honours? Originally run at Gaelcon 2001
"Suffer For My Art" by Fergal O Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/suffer.zip)
The Toreador are harmless fops - just dandies and poncy artists, right?
Well, no. Find out what happens when a Clan who live purely for enjoyment
grow bored of their immortal unlives and turn to the other Clans for entertainment
in theis Vampire scenario from Gaelcon 2001. You should probably restrict
this one to mature players.
"Things to do in Dyffed when you're Genlifted" by Gareth
Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/ttdidwyg.zip)
A tabletop scenario for 'Blue Planet' written for Warpcon 2000. The players
experience a brief trip through Poseidon's criminal underworld in the
floating city of Dyffed.
"Wake Up Call" by Gareth Hanrahan & Shane Lucey
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/wakeup.zip)
A Traveller RPG (although I'm told it is generic sci-fi) scenario, originally
written and run at Warpcon 8, 1998. No characters included, so it could
be slotted into a weekly game with little bother...
"Plug & Play" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/plugplay.zip)
A rather spectacularly good "Alternity" scenario (although it's very rules
light, possibly due to the lack of exposure of Alternity.) I doubt it
can easily be played as a game in an existing campaign, but for an evening
of great fun, you could do no worse than rolling up your sleeves and getting
stuck into this one. Originally run for Warpcon 1999.
"Treacherous Waters" by Gareth
Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/treachwater.zip)
Gareth presents a Blue Planet scenario, based on the planet Poseidon.
On board a water station, the six highest-ranking officers battle against
a storm, hostile torpedo wielding bad guys and each other.
"Xenocean" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/bluexeno.zip)
There is more to be dicovered on this Planet than new resources for the
Incorporates. In fact, what the players find may be well behind their
comprehension. This Blue Planet scenario (from Dragonmeet and Dominicon)
links in with Hilary's 'Venus of Redsands', which can also be found on
this site.
"The Tyrant of Xathra" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/Xathra.zip)
The near-infamous Star Wars saga penned by Mr. Honan for Leprecon 1999.
I won't go into too much detail, but this one has a play as a GM briefing,
and is probably the longest scenario we have here. Probably suitable to
be slotted into a campaign, or playable on its own. Great, epic stuff.
"The Dying of the Light" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/dyingli.zip)
The extermination of the Jedi has begun, and 6 young Jedi apprentices
are left very much alone, pursued by a relentless foe. Can even one of
the greatest Jedi heroes ever prevent the Dying of the Light? A Star Wars
scenario using the old West End Games system and originally run at Gaelcon
99.
"Venus of Redsands" by Hilary Hayes
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/venusred.zip)
A very special child has gone missing, and the Corporation wants it back.
A very special child has turned up in a remote village. Connection? Would
that things were that easy. On the world of Blue Planet, there is always
more to things than that. A highly detailed Blue Planet scenario from
Gaelcon 2000, which even includes a comprehensive index for ease of running!
"The Facility" by Stephen Herron
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/TheFacility.zip)
Stephen has presented here a beginning scenario for 'The Nearside Project'
by Nearside Games. The characters are brought together by a body known
as 'The Regency Group' and soon find themselves immersed in bizarre events.
This scenario is kept in PDF format, so you might need to make sure and
download Adobe Acrobat Reader before you download 'The Facility.'
"Star Wars: Crusaders I - Empire's Ashes" by Paul Anthony Shortt
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/crusade1.zip)
A Star Wars scenario, set after the destruction of the second Death Star
at Endor. This has an awful lot of detail attached to it, not least the
suggestion to use the music from the original movies, and a track list
of what track to play when. Odds are that if you like Star Wars, you'll
like this.
"The Commie Cultist Conspiracy" by Adam Kelly
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/commcult.zip)
The computer loves you. He understands that sometimes it's hard to do
your job. Don't be stressed, just die and hope your next clone does better.
A Paranoia scenario for Sillicon 2.
"The Tribe Goes To War" by JP
Chapleau
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/thetribegoestowar.zip)
'The Tribe' live in the abandoned Metro stations of Montreal, Canada.
An attack on their settlement leaves them trailing their children through
the post apocalyptic world of Deadlands. A scenario for five players originally
run at Vaticon 2000.
"Trinity 138" by Kenneth Whyte
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/trinity138.zip)
In a bid to create a new reality a great cleansing of society has taken
place. But for those who are considered undesireable elements, there will
be far more in sotre for them than a simple exile. No, jail would be a
picnic compared to this. A Fading Suns game from Dominicon.
"Demon: The Temptation" by Nick
Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/demon.zip)
Nick's second work, and the only one to be written without the benefit
of a convention deadline. D:tT introduces demons into the World of Darkness,
specifically targetting Vampires as the victims of the Infernals. It covers
all aspects of demonic life, and Nick likes to consider it a "public domain
expansion book for World of Darkness." D:tT was written before the "Book
of Madness" but the two are more or less compatible.
"Time & Again" by Nick Huggins & Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/tanda.zip)
The last "Elsewhen" game, written in 1997. This one takes place in the
current day and age, but with a twist in the tale supplied courtesy of
a guest star from "Mage: The Ascension."
"Sorcerous Emergence" by Nick Huggins & Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/emergence.zip)
The start of a three-year collaboration on Vampire: the Masquerade scenarios
by Nick and Brian in 1995, this scenario takes our (anti-)heroes to the
Carpathian mountains. A Vampire: the Dark Ages scenario written before
the Dark Ages book was released.
"The Terror of Dr Ackula" by Nick Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/ackula.zip)
A car breaks down on a dark and stormy night. A police car drives by on
patrol. Fate conspires to bring a group together, and the only place they
can find shelter is that old castle on the hillside (crash of thunder).
No this isn't a joke. An original scenario from Nick Huggins, where players
take the part of characters in an old horror movie. Originally run at
Gaelcon 2000.
"The Last Days" by Nick Huggins & Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/lastdays.zip)
Part two of the "Elsewhen" trilogy by Brian and Nick. This one, from 1996
takes place late in the 21st Century in a very different world to today's.
"Fall of A Sparrow" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/fsparrow.zip)
In a world where meaning is processed and twisted by the masses before
it reaches your ears, do you have what it takes to survive. More to the
point, do you want to? The first scenario for the much taked about Unknown
Armies game to reach this website. Originally run at Warpcon X.
"Werewolves Without A Cause" by Gareth Hanrahan & Aidan Rafferty
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/wwacause.zip)
A really bizarre werewolf scenario (written for Warpcon 2000) involving
the most sorry troupe of werewolves I think I have ever seen. Their caernfathers
(who have much the same opinion) go about putting them through a rite
of passage that goes horribly, horribly wrong...
"Kind Hearts and Coronets" by Gareth
Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/kindhart.zip)
It's Mardi Gras time in New Orleans, and with the party atmosphere and
the anonymity of the crowd conscience is being left behind. As a gushot
victim lies dying on an operating room table, 5 people are going to find
out just how liberating anonymity can be. An Unknown Armies scenario originally
written for Leprecon XXII.
"Carcosa, NJ" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/carcosa.zip)
Strange things happen in the Occult Undergroud, and stranger yet when
combined with the excesses of America's East Coast gambling heavan. A
casino, a hotel, some ghost, wierd alchemy and a pseudo religious figure
who lives in a statue. That would be Unknown Armies then. Originally run
at Gaelcon 2000.
"Serene & Primal" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/srnprml.zip)
Disturbing, disturbing, disturbing. Oh - And one of the few scenarios
I've read that got run at a convention which is actually worthy of the
title "Call of Cthulhu." Most of the stuff I see is rehashed X-Files these
days, but Gar has delivered something truly Lovecraftian.
"The Once & Future King" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/futurkng.zip)
An extremely well written and researched Call of Cthulhu scenario written
for Warpcon 1998. As usual with Warpcon tournament games, this scenario
is written in two parts. The characters also come seperately.
"The Lost Giant" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/puppet.zip)
At the edge of the land, a giant cries a river of tears and the even bigger
giant shouts in a voice like thunder. Meanwhile Punch and the Flesh Puppets
are on their way to make you pay for rebelling. Yup, this can't be anything
other than Puppetland.
"My Overcrowded Pineal Gland" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/fractures.zip)
'My Overcrowded Pineal Gland' is the sequel to 'Serene & Primal.'
Like the latter work, this scenario is for Call of Cthulhu, and doesn't
take place entirely in the 'real world.' In simple terms, I would not
class this as an easy scenario to run, but actually running it should
provide you with a hell of a rewarding experience, for the Keeper especially.
"Cracks On The Surface" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/crack.zip)
A new kid starts at school and finds out that there is far more to be
afraid of than he could ever have imagined. Here in this quiet English
village the strain is starting to show, and eventually something is going
to give.
"Strangers in the Night" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/strange.zip)
A Vampire Scenario from Brian. Two sets of triplets, from the same family,
embraced by one Kindred, hanging out in Dublin, at night, at Samhain,
at the end of the millennium. Something that an occultist would either
drool over, or have a fatal anyeurism on the spot…
"Wages Of Sin" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/wagessin.zip)
One of the first "In Nomine" games run in the country. This one tells
the strange tale of a cult in Berlin who have the singular honor of producing
the man who has "sinned against both Heaven and Hell." Chaos ensues. As
you'd expect, really.
"Law of Effect" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/law.zip)
Not all moves in a scheme make sense. Not all plots need be nefarious.
What possible motive could there be for the tormented of six seemingly
innocent souls? A Delta Green scenario from Leprecon XXI.
"Warm, Safe Place" by Fergal
O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/wrmsfplc.zip)
A Werewolf scenario, originally run at Vaticon III (which I believe was
96.) The scenario is very freeform, and probably won't fit into your regular
game. On the other hand, it would make an excellent vision quest, or break
from the norm.
"As If" by Fergal O'Brien & Gary Cosgrave
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/asif.zip)
The story of a group of strangely familiar schoolfriends, banding together
to protect one small hamlet against the forces of evil, personified by
the Vampyr. Allegedly a Vampire: The Masquerade scenario from Gaelcon
1998.
"All Is Not Well In The City Of Angels" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/notwell.zip)
A "Call of Cthulhu" RPG scenario, written in 1996, and not run or published
anywhere other than the "Chaosium Digest" mailing list. Characters included.
"Angels in the Trees" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/angeltre.zip)
Things are different out in the jungle. Things seem somehow distant and
less real. Or maybe it's that they become more real and everything else
becomes muted. A very different SLA Industries scenario.
"Viva Atomic City!" by Eamon
Honan & Meg Hilko
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/atomiccity.zip)
An Unknown Armies scenario concerning the events when a bunch of horny
high school teenagers decide to hang out in Los Alamos canyon. Meantime,
a festival in Los Alamos designed to bring peace between scientists and
residents of the twon is going more than a little wrong thanks to some
radiation, one nutter, and a fair old whack of magic...
"Do You Remember the First Time?" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/remember.zip)
A beast I am lest a beast I become. Sophistry meant to spare teh conscience
from the ravages of reality. A scenario which certainly can't be accused
of falling into the usual Vampire cliches. Originally run at Leprecon
XXI.
"Take The Force Of The Blow" by Damien Moore
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/forceblo.zip)
A "Call of Cthulhu" scenario, based in Australia. It differs from many
of the scenarios here in that it is written with 4 players in mind (rather
than the usual Irish convention party of 6.) One of the characters seems
to be missing from this archive, but we're looking to fix that.
"Ethnic Cleansing" by Hilary Hayes
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/ethclens.zip)
Dateline Toledo, June 1492. An order has been passed expelling all Jews
from Spain. The PCs play a group of people not wanting to leave for various
reasons. Only time (and your players) will tell if they manage to stay
put or if they are forced to leave… or convert.
"The Dogs of Mars" by Ashley
Perryman
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/dogs.zip)
This is a truly superb scenario, and could really easily be the starting
point for a staggeringly good campaign. It takes place in the future,
on Mars. Without giving away the plot I can't really say more. However
- I can heartily recommend this one. Have fun.
"The Haunted Hotel" by Stephen Herron
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/TheHauntedHotel.zip)
Stephen writes another Nearside project scenario, which may not be the
best introduction to the Nearside available, but was still very well received
when played at Origins 2000. The group investigate the strange case of
a Haunted Hotel...
"Trophies" by Adam Kelly
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/trophies.zip)
There are times when we lose sight of what is important. There are times
when we are blind to what happens around us. Nothing need bother us as
long as we look out for each other...right? A Call of Cthulhu scenario
for Sillicon Two
"The Divine Nature of Heresy" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/divine.zip)
Centuries after the events in Supremely Abominable Crimes (also on this
website), the question of the Templars is raised again. Forgotten by the
outside world, their legacy lives on, and it is up to a group of Remnants
to plunge the depths of their secrets. As with it's prequel, a scenario
for In Nomine.
"Come Forth and be Cured" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/cured.zip)
Throughout the American Bible Belt, they ply their trade in tents and
town halls. There is something very different about this particular Reverend
of late. To wit, he is performing real miracles. One thingh is certain,
there are going to be ramifications. A Call of Cthulhu scenario which
originally ran at Leamchcon 2000.
"Of Sound Mind and Body" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/soundmin.zip)
Best described (by the author) as a *classic* Cthulhu scenario. Your host
is looking extremely hagard - more so than his recent bereavement should
be causing. What is he doing in his private study all day long? A Call
of Cthulhu scenario from Leprecon XX.
"Speak of the Devil" by Colm
Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/speakdev.zip)
Everybody has heard of the dangers of playing with ouija boards. One group
of kids didn't listen, and now they are going to find out just what the
danger is. An In Nomine scenario from Leprecon XXII written with the express
purpose of being accessible to players new to the game.
"Flame and Steel" by Moxie
& Oograh
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/flame.zip)
A village has been razed to the ground by some unknown force, and the
Prince isn't happy about it. And when the Prince isn't happy, the Magi
tend to be a bit nervous. Of course, the Vampires and Magi will be only
to happy to work together to find out what happened. Yes...thrilled. A
Mage: Sorcerers Crusade scenario from Dominicon 2000.
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by JP
Chapleau
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/lionslp.zip)
There's something out there in the jungle, and the natives aren't being
all too forthcoming about just what it is. Of course, when has that ever
stopped the British Spirit! A colonial Call of Cthulhu game originally
run at Gaelcon 2000. This is quite a large download, due to the included
pretty pictures.
"Lord Karma has Gone Insane" by JP Chapleau
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/lordkarma.zip)
The court of Lord Karma is surprised to find that he is suddenly babbling
unintelligibly and unable to comprehend the most simple thing. There's
nothing for it but to embark on a mission to find the only thing that
can possibly save him! A Call of Cthulhu Dreamlands adventure for five
players, originally run at Vaticon 2000.
"Welcome to the Jungle" by Kenneth
Whyte
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/jungle.zip)
Black Tiger are on their way to the top, riding on a tide of glamourous
self destruction. So what makes them any different from the profusion
of other decadent rock bands in the late 80s? Well, they're the only ones
who are Vampires. A decidedly different Vampire scenario from Leprecon
XXII.
"Wave of Mutilation" by Kenneth Whyte
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/mutilate.zip)
The Archbishop has disappeared and the characters are really concerned.
No really. Can't you see them crying blood. Of course, when the Priscus
asks them to investigate, they'd better get concerned in a hurry. Unfortunately,
they are about to learn two thing - i) the Sabbat can be really uncommunicative
at times and ii) sometimes it's better not to know. A Vampire scenario
from Gaelcon 2000
"2 Seconds" by Kenneth Whyte & Moxie
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/2seconds.rtf)
Sometimes it's nice to feel special. Sometimes it isn't so great after
all. A group of students known for acting out are about to find out that
it isn't just the college authorities who are keeping an eye on them.
These are very special children, who are destined for very special things
and have more than one very special benefactor waiting in the shadows.
A Werewolf scenario originally run at Warpcon XI.
"And Does Not Descend" by Gareth
Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/notdesc.zip)
There is no greater shame than a fallen son. There is no greater heroism
than a noble fight against injustice. Only the Phoenix rises and does
not descend. - A Legend of The Five Rings scenario from Gareth Hanrahan
"Blood of the Family" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/blood.zip)
Honour, duty, loyalty. A samurai lives his life by a code, but sometimes
that code isn't too clear. A fould murder has been commited using the
darkest magics, and it's up to the party to find out who is responsible...and
what to do when they find out. A Legend of the Five Rings scenario from
Gaelcon 2000
"The Road by the Sea" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/roadsea.zip)
To the most part the Lords of Rokugan are left to govern their own demesne,
but there are certain inaliable laws. Having evidence that you've broken
one of these show up on your doorstep while you have a magistrate as a
guest and a Crab invasion threatening to explode is not a good situation
to be in. A Legend of the Five Rings scenario from Dominicon 2000. Large
download due to illustrations.
"Lights, Camera, Action!" by Gareth
Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/litcamac.zip)
A decidedly strange MERP scenario, run at Warpcon 1999 in which a group
of modern-day students find themselves in Middle Earth courtesy of a deranged
movie director, a dimension travelling wardrobe, and Sauron... As you
do.
"Love Changes Everything" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/lovechange.zip)
Brian's Nth Discworld game, written for Gaelcon 99. This one is not a
GURPS Discworld game, but could relatively easily be converted to same.
"Two to Tango" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/twototango.zip)
This could go *really* well, or *really* badly, dependant on whether or
not you're an imaginative GM, and whether or not your players are imaginative.
*Everything* in this game is defined as music. There is no scenario, as
such, but I honestly think it could work. Another excellent DiscWorld
scenario from Brian.
"Bonnie Will" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/bonniewill.zip)
The year is 1875, and the famous explorer William Mendleford has returned
from Scotland rent and torn by some horrible creature. There's nothing
for it but for six brave souls to gird their loins, prepare themselves
for the Scottish Highlands and see exactly what caused the problem. This
Castle Falkenstein adventure was originally run at Leprecon XVII, and
almost caused laughter suffocation in two of the playtesters.
"Behind Door Number Three" by Brian
Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/doorno3.zip)
This is the AD&D scenario from Gaelcon 1998. The character archives
are kept seperate from the scenario itself, but are included as originally
designed by Goblin God Nisbet...
"What Happens Next?" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/whhappen.zip)
When time itself starts to go awry in the city of Ankh-Morpork, and accountancy
begins to suffer as a result, there's only one thing to do - Call a bunch
of engineers and see what they can do about it!
"Lost Souls" by Brian Nisbet &
Simon Rooney
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/lstsouls.zip)
This is the Discworld scenario from Gaelcon 1996 (before GURPS Discworld!)
You have character archives and the scenario archives herein.
"Everything From Nothing" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/everyth.zip)
A Legend of the Five Rings scenario about hate, betrayal and forgiveness
in the world of Rokugan. Weary adventurers, fleeing from forces they cannot
understand face their fears and their destinies in an abandoned monastery
where something is not quite right.
"The Lesser Evil" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/lesser.zip)
No tears, no regrets, no mercy. The malcontented, the bitter and the downright
insane are out to prove a point to the world in this 3rd Ed D&D scenario,
but they are about to find out that more stands in their way than mere
humans. Those who don't study the mistakes of their own history are bound
to repeat them. As you have sowed, so shall ye reap. Originally run at
Gaelcon 2000, this is a game recommended for a slightly more mature audience,
although it can also be played purely for revelling in how damn tough
the characters are.
"Closer My God Unto Thee" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/closer.zip)
A killer is stalking the streets, and yet it is who it doesn't kill that
has the town in uproar. There is more than mere insanity at play, and
unless answers are found soon the entire city might dissolve into chaos.
But answers rely on truth, and truth is such a subjective term, especially
when priests get involved. A Dungeons & Dragons (3rdEd) game from
Warpcon XI
"The Greater Good" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/greatgood.zip)
A first! A scenario where the little guys get a look in. Imagine what
would happen in your normal AD&D game if the heroes were not so heroic
in nature, but just, say... farmers. Not something you could play in your
ongoing campaign, but entertaining nonetheless.
"Whiteout" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/whiteout.zip)
The winter has come early, and it's up to the party to keep their small
tribe of nomads together while trying to find out exactly what is going
on...
"Get Him Out Alive!" by Alan O Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/outalive.zip)
An AD&D scenario, characters included, originally run at one of the
Vaticons. There are maps included with this scenario also, which are replicates
of the originals.
"A Map Of The Universe" by Oli Bird
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/mapunivrse.zip)
An Ars Magica scenario by long-time writer Oli Bird, written for Gaelcon
99. The characters are an expedition sent by the Council of Nine into
the shifting desert sands of Arabia, to meet with a powerful wizard that
lives there, and persuade him to throw his weight behind them
"Midsummer" by Hilary
Hayes
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/midsummer.zip)
Whilst looking for a man gone to buy a wedding present in this "Everway"
scenario, our heroes find themselves in the realm of Midsummer. It certainly
isn't to be taken for granted that everything is as happy and joyful as
it seems…
"The Belgariad Sourcebook" by Stephen Herron
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/blgariadsbk.zip)
This is a biggie. An entire sourcebook for AD&D based on the hugely
successful "Belgariad" (and to a lesser extent the "Mallorean") by David
Eddings. This book features everything you'd expect from a sourcebook
- character classes, specialities, a Belgariad timeline and a description
of the known lands. This really is a fairly mammoth undertaking. (Note
- This game is available in PDF format only.)
"Brennin Sourcebook" by Stephen
Herron
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/brennin.zip)
Stephen's 'Hellsgate' campaign is based around this sourcebook, detailing
the land of Brennin. This sourcebook is for players and GMs, and details
Brennin's history, geopolitical status, gods, and geography. Oh - And
it looks pretty too! This is a PDF sourcebook, so make sure you have Adobe
Acrobat. Also, it's a fairly meaty download (~1.85Mb.)
"Darkmoor Sourcebook" by Stephen
Herron
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/darkmoor.zip)
The town of Darkmoor is a small town on the Northern highway just outside
Hellsgate. This sourcebook details places of interest, rumours, denizens
etc. As per usual with Stephen's stuff this is beautifully presented and
very complete. It could probably be used in any fantasy campaign. This
is a PDF sourcebook, so make sure you have Adobe Acrobat at the ready.
"Death of an Angel" by David McCormick
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/Deathang.zip)
Some say that it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at
all. Tell that to an angel denied forever the grace of heavan. An In Nomine
scenario from Warpcon X
"Supremely Abominable Crimes" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/supreme.zip)
The Templars stand accussed and it falls to the Angelic Host to sort out
the truth of the matter. Or does it? Even angels may know doubt, even
the divine may question their role. Take a look at what it really means
to be an angel, as you strip away layers upon layers of truth and countertruth.
"Past Heroes" by JP Chapleau
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/pasthero.zip)
A new Emperor ascends to the throne, and a ceremony reaffirming his ties
to those owed Imperial Gratitude ensues. If only things were that simple.
In Rokugan there is always more than meets the eye. A Legend of the Five
Rings scenario from Leprecon XXII.
"For a Galleon of Gold" by JP
Chapleau
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/galleon.zip)
Treasure and Pirates and Ships (oh, my). This is undoubtedly one of the
most visually impressive scenarios we have on this site (which is why
the download is so large - be warned). More aids to visualisation (pictures)
than you can shake a stick at. And you get to assault governer's mansions,
partake in high speed sea chases and buckle your swash away to your hearts
content. Yes, this is indeed a 7th Sea scenaio.
"Novas Rising" by Eoin
Leahy
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/nova.zip)
With great power comes great...well actually what comes with great power
is a superpowered madman trying to recruit you for his army of superbeings
so you can take over the world. Don't you just hate having a conscience?
An Abberant scenario from Gaelcon 2000
"Prince of Persia" by Philip Gilsenan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/princeofpersia.zip)
Phil's 'Prince of Persia' game takes place after an evil Vizier has taken
the throne and thrown the rightful heir (said Prince) into a dungeon beneath
the palace with five of his supporters. The challenge is to escape the
dungeon. This game is essentially a dungeon crawl with few monsters. You
could likely take bits of it and incorporate into AD&D, if your campaign
involves dungeon crawling...
"The Man Behind the Curtain" by John
Corkery
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/behindcurtain.zip)
The Oracle of Air is acting strangely. So much so that he has unnerved
the local peasantry and the local magistrate was forced to investigate.
Toshimoko has decided to send a group of Emerald Magistrates to check
the situation. A magistrate was summoned from each of the six great clans.
Five arrived. Originally run at Warpcon 2001.
"Through the Round Window" by Brian
Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/roundwin.zip)
Gosh, the adults are acting very strange today. Any idea why Big Ted?
No Little Ted, perhaps it's some sort of adult thing that us toys can't
understand. Oh, that's different then Big Ted. Indluge your search for
something *different* with this scenario from Warpcon X
"Return to the Beginning" by Brian
Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/return.zip)
Six people who have found that the world has turned against them. Coincidence?
Or was this always the way it was supposed to be? Or will they have a
change to start over and change it all again. This scenario was originally
written for Warpcon XI
"The Little People" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/little.zip)
The war between heavan and hell rages on, and caught in the middle are
humanity. Acceptable casualities? Not as far as one group of Cherubim
is concerned. An In Nomine scenario from Dominicon.
"Calling Down the Midnight Sun" by Brian
Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/midnightsun.zip)
A kind of freeform tabletop, attached to no rules system by Brian. The
members of a cult gather, far away from the trappings of society to witness
the landing of a spaceship containing the benevolent aliens that will
save the world from itself. Unfortunately, not everything is as it seems,
and things are about to go bad for the cultists...
"Gunned with the Wind" by Fergal
O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/gunned.zip)
Gone with the Wind. And guns. Scary as hell, and I'm saying nothing else.
"Don't Hate the Player.." by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/donthate.zip)
Madison Square Garden - a world watches as the combatants take to the
ring. But there is more at stake than merely glory. Attunement to one
of the most powerful site on the planet hangs in the balance. Only one
wrestler has enough popularity to help the Dragons succeed - assuming
they don't kill him first. A Feng Shui scenario from Vaticon VII
"Pride & Extreme Prejudice" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/pridepr.zip)
Imagine "Macho Women with Guns" crossed with "Pride & Predjudice."
Mayhem ensues.
"Something Wiccan This Way Comes" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/wiccan.zip)
Cynics often suggest that the best thing to do with an idealist is to
let them rule for a while and see how they like it. So what does happen
when the world is actually run by idealists? When a critical shift wipes
out violence and hatred from the face of the planet? And how can those
who remember the old ways hope to fit in? A Feng Shui scenario from Dominicon.
"Matrix Women With Guns" by Fergal O'Brien
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/mtrxwwg.zip)
It's some time since the events of the film "The Matrix." The One has
gone missing, presumed taken by the powers of the Matrix itself. On a
hunch, a party of gutsy (not to mention chesty) women go into the computer
generated sensory hallucination to find, and hopefully save Neo.
"No-one Should Have to Die in Memphis" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/memphis.zip)
Something quite different in this scenario. How does it feel to be held
up in a Bank Raid? How does it feel to be the ones perpetrating the raid?
How does it feel to be an innocent bystander caught up in the madness?
And how does it feel to be the cops brought in to deal with it? See the
situation from all of these angles in this revolutionary STOCS scenario
from Gaelcon 2000
"Hard as Steel" by Eamon Honan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/hardsteel.zip)
The future of the Reich looks grim, and yet are children not the future?
Reared from their very early years to believe in the sanctity of their
Fuhrer, the Youth are Germany's last line of defense as the war effort
falls to pieces around them. Just how much loyalty do these children have?
A GURPS scenario from Sillicon 3, this game contains some upsetting themes
and is recommended for mature players only.
"Ides Of March" by Claire Bradley
& Mary Kilgarriff
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/IdesMarc.zip)
One of the more important Irish games run recently. "Ides of March" has
sparked off a trend for "historically correct" games which has continued
for a while. Check out the game that started the whole thing!
"The Thirteenth Hour" by Various
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/13thhour.zip)
"The Thirteenth Hour" is a collection of fiction based on the rather excellent
"Nearside Project" by Nearside Games. This bunch of material is sometimes
haunting, sometimes frightening, and definitely worth a read for ideas
and plot material (for Nearside or any other faintly disturbing game.)
Recommended. Thanks to the authors - Stephen Herron, Barry Gibson and
Colin Sinclair.
"Trilogy" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/trilogy.zip)
Vaticon's trademark event finally makes an appearance on IrishGaming.Com.
Three different games from three different systems, but played seuquentially
and with a common plot running through them all. This Trilogy comes from
Vaticon VII and plays for high stakes as it romps through WHFRP, In Nomine
and Nephilim.
"White Sands" by Kenneth Whyte
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/whitesands.zip)
Very few things change life in a village more than the discovery of Ghost
Rock, but when it emerges in the bay things are that much worse. With
the influx of researchers and the upheaval of everyday life there is a
sudden need of someone to keep the peace. That's where the players come
in. A Deadlands scenario from Dominicon.
"Don't Be So Shallow" by Philip Gilsenan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/shallow.zip)
Cubans, terrorists, alien races, vampires and bizarre offshoots of US
government agencies. All of them want to stop you from finding out about....The
rest of this blurb has been censored. A GURPS Illuminati scenario from
Gaelcon 2000
"Fur is to be Feared" by Philip Gilsenan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/fearfur.zip)
One of Phil's fairly superb 'Illuminati' scenarios, concerning, well,
if I told you it would be telling. Suffice it to say that your players
will be confused, and you the GM will have a whale of a time laughing
at their discomfort, erm, I mean, making sure everyone has fun and gets
a chance to effect the Conspiracy.
"Thoughts And Trinkets" by Philip Gilsenan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/thoughtsandtrinkets.zip)
Another one of Phil's 'Illuminati' scenarios, and one of the best ones
to boot. This one concerns the strange events connected with a small antique
shop in Covent Garden. What strange events, and how do they fit in with
the Conspiracy? You'll have to play to find out.
"The Haunted House" by Sadhbh
Warren
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/hauntedhouse.zip)
Mad Sadhbh has come up with another slice of 'Macho Women' craziness.
This one centers around a bunch of happy-go-lucky women who have landed
a contract to star in a TV show called 'Babe Mansion.' But why all the
strange goings on? Is someone telekinetic, or has the entire mansion been
built on an ancient Indian Burial Ground? Who cares? Let's blow it up
anyway!
"A Macho Women Fairytale" by Sadhbh Warren
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/fairytale.zip)
So there's all these fairytales with all these heroines, right? And you
don't believe they were all as sweet and nice and innocent as they were
in the stories, do you? Honestly? So what happens when they all find out
that Prince Charming has treated them all, like, totally shabbily? Yup,
that's right. They pull out guns. Lots of guns. And then they go kick
ass.
"Class Of '83" by Nick Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/ClasOf83.zip)
A hastily written, although reasonably well-received LARP centering around
the events at a school reunion. Requires one player to "play" by phone
(although this could be faked) and is decidedly "Call of Cthulhu" in nature.
"A Family Matter" by Nick Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/familymatter.zip)
This is Nick's take on the classic haunted house scenario. The Beauregarde
family are called to a mansion on the edge of a cliff to discover who
will inherit the riches of their patriarch - Horace Beauregarde. Naturally
- Bad things happen. A LARP for twenty-five players which could easily
lend itself to Call of Cthulhu, if you must have a system...
"Sidekicks Anonymous" by Nick Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/sidekicks.zip)
The "real" heroes are missing, and the sidekicks are left to fend for
themselves. One of two incredibly chaotic, and faintly ridiculous Live
Action games, by Nick. This one was originally run at Gaelcon 98, and
is for 25 people with a serious sense of humour.
"Vox" by Nick Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/vox.zip)
Vox is a science-Fiction LARP set in the Terran Dominion, where a message
from a possibly alien vessel brings fear, mystery and not a small amount
of politics and chaos. Originally run at Warpcon 1999, it's for 20 players.
"Weird Science" by Nick Huggins
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/science.zip)
Bizarreness abounds in this LARP tale of a bunch of Weird Scientists getting
together to decide whether the good guys or the bad guys are the best.
Can you say Photonic Omni-Electron Dampening Emitter Shield?
"The Power Of Freedom" by Nick Huggins & Joe Murphy
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/freedom.zip)
A scenario written in 1994, for 'Vampire: The Masquerade.' This is a huge
game (40+ characters?) but has a few rough edges that might need to be
knocked off of it first. After all - It *was* Nick and Joe's first game
(Awww...)
"Dune (The LARP)" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/dune.zip)
This is pretty much a prequel to the events in "Dune" by Frank Herbert.
The noble houses quarrel over the future ownership of the dune planet
Arrakis. Written as a LARP, this one has most everything - backstabbing,
feuding, death, and impostors…
"Dune: LARP" by Gareth Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/Dunelarp.zip)
In the beginning there was a monumental undertaking called the DUNE Larp.
And Gamers saw that it was good. Unfortunately, it suffered from being
largely in Gar's head and hence was near impossible for anyone else to
run. Then alone came an American gentleman by the name of Kevin MacGregor
who put it into a nice followable and above all runnable format. Why are
we telling you this? Well, if he was willing to put that much effort into
cataloguing someone elses work, it was obviously some good.
"Homeworld" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/hworld.zip)
A Larp from Brian Nisbet. 5 very different alien races come together to..um..settle
their differences. Obviously everything will work out smoothly and happy...honest.
"The Enemy Without" by Brian Nisbet
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/enmywithout.zip)
Conspiracy abounds, in this Live Action game based on "Magi" by Wasteland
Games. This scenario was actually very well received by the people who
wrote Magi itself. The full character listings are presented here, although
no full details of how the game runs are present yet.
"Forever Autumn" by Fergal O'Brien & Oli Bird
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/foreverautumn.zip)
A Legend of the Five Rings LARP. The first one I've seen, in fact. Spirit
your players away to a better time and place, where honour is more important
than truth, and saving face means everything. Oh - And they had neat-o
clothing too!
"The Salem Witch Trials" by Aidan Walsh
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/salem.zip)
This is a great scenario. It's obviously based on the real-life Salem
Witch Trials, but Aidan has written this as a 'Cthulhu Live' scenario,
with all the things that go squish in the night that that label incurs.
The 'How to Run this Game' document included is great. About the only
downside to the game as it stands is the fact that it's for 25 people
which may be a little more than you can gather together for the game!
"Carribean Cruise" by Fiachra 'Fiki'
Kelly & Gavin Crosbie
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/carribeancruise.zip)
This is a large LARP (36 players) written for a large event. It is the
1940s and strange things are afoot on the 'Eve' - a cruise ship. There
are no documents on how to run this game included, and you may find a
few of the characters in bad taste (a disclaimer is included with the
archive.) Nevertheless, I have good reports of them game as it ran
"Briar and Honeysuckle" by Gar
Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/briar.zip)
Some games are ambitious. Then there are games which try to get across
the incredibly complex political and cosmological make up of the world
of Nobilis. Can it be done? Take a look and find out. This game was originally
run at Gaelcon 2001.
"Verboten: Operation Faust" by
Gar Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/verboten.zip)
In the closing days of the Second World War, an elite team of Allied soldiers
parachute down behind enemy lines. Their mission - destroy the SS research
facility at the so-called "Black Monastery". In a time when humanity makes
its own horror, who would willingly call up even darker forces?
"Inversions" by Gar Hanrahan
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/inversions.zip)
Six characters. A distress call, a sinking research station, a massive
storm and the threat of an even worse danger. And no hands. See things
from another point of view.
"Ghost Dust" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/gdust.zip)
The PCs
investigate a few murders in downtown Mort and find themselves in the
midst of secret experiments on Brainwasters that expand their powers
beyond prediction. The experiment involves an alien drug which has, of
course, leaked onto the streets. A nasty and dark SLA Industries
scenario.
"Hell Riders" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/hellrider.zip)
A witch-hunt in small
and paranoid town in the Empire takes bizarre twists as the trial itself
becomes a work of chaos, giving an opening to the very creatures
they are trying to avoid in this Warhammer Fantasy Role-pay scenario.
"An Ideal Society"
by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/idealsoc.zip)
Welcome to Cedar
Pines, a self-contained community where everyone works together equally
and in harmony, and residents all share in the love, joy and wonder of
Christian ideals, away from temptations such as lust and alcohol. Regular
patrols make sure to keep te love alive in this Call of Cthulhu
scenario
"Masada" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/masada.zip)
An In Nomine scenatio
spanning three era from the creation on the fortress, through the infamous
suicide in 74BCE, to the excavation on the site in 1963, the PCs learn
what the real secret behind Masada is. Will they carry the guilt of the
suicides with them forever and protect this secret, or is it just to much
to bear.
"Pyramid" by Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/pyramid.zip)
Promethues has stolen
and artefact of Creation, and is using it to teach humanity even more
secrets than his last escapade. But is he set to save humanity again, or
are the Archangels justified in sending the PCs to stop him, and will the
PCs obey orders, even if it means disaster for humanity.
"St. Raphael's" by
Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/raphaels.zip)
Such an opportunity to
study in the best Psychiatric resting home in the states, replete with the
rich, the famous, and the best minds in the field today. The PCs get to
expereince cutting edge theories, such as fear therapy, and are excitied
as this will be the best experience of their lives. A Call of Cthulhu
scenario.
"Upon this Rock" by
Colm Lundberg
(http://www.gameeire.com/Scenarios/uponrock.zip)
A short time after the
departure of Christ, the lands of Israel are torn asunder with
factionalisation rising to continual street brawls, stonings and
assassinations. In the midst of this mayhem, St. Peter decided to go to
Rome, to the heart of the enemy, an enemy who are beginning to hate
Peter's followers more and more. An In Nomine scenario.
